On the afternoon of December 3rd, 2024, Hue University held a ceremony to announce the decision and award certificates recognizing educators and visiting lecturers of Hue University as having achieved the title of Associate Professor.

When visiting A Nam village in Hong Van commune, A Luoi district, tourists will have the chance to admire the only longhouse built with the traditional style of the Pa Co people. In 2014, the longhouse was constructed thanks to the advocacy of weaving artisan Quynh Quyen, a villager of A Nam, and it has since become a symbol of solidarity among the villagers.

In the bright picture of Vietnam’s tourism which has made a strong recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, Hue tourism shows positive signs in terms of strong growth in the number of international visitors and expanding the market of international tourists.

On the afternoon of September 28th, the Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the Provincial Museum of History, organized a heritage visit and experience at the Imperial Citadel for students who received the title of “Honored student of the school" for the 2023 - 2024 academic year.

Recently, a form of promotion that the tourism industry has focused on deploying is organizing famtrip groups to promote to key markets.

According to the statistics from the Department of Tourism in the first 2 months of the year, the rate of visitors to Hue only accounts for about 5 to 10%, the rest is in the form of self-planned tours.

A major change in the way festivals are organized in Hue will be a series of folk festivals, royal festivals and new festivals with quality and scale commensurate with the potential and cultural characteristics of the city into "Four Seasons Festival",
