Coming back from the 20-day working trip to the Spratly Island, the very first gift of the reporter Doan Quynh Anh is the emotional photos taken of the little angels at the sacred outpost islands of the nation.

Telling the story of an old lady from Hue with a philanthropic heart, young man Nguyen Duc Minh Hoang (Hue City) excellently surpassed more than 170 contestants nationwide to be awarded the First Prize in the 8th “Young Francophone Reporters 2023" contest.

On the business trip, I recorded my emotions of the naval soldiers with all my heart. The trip covered the reporters from many central and local newspapers, radio stations, and the Naval Region 3 working delegation, who boarded the ship KN-390 patrolling the sea to visit and extend New Year's greetings to officers, soldiers and people on Con Co and Ly Son islands.

Winning prizes in the “Francophone reporter” contest held by Le Courier du Vietnam of Vietnam News Agency, the two students expect that it was a chance for them to promote people and culture of Hue to people in the world in general, and in Francophone community in particular.
