TTH.VN - The Famtrip delegation from the Philippines has recently conducted a survey of tourist attractions in the provincial area. This is an occasion for the provincial tourism sector to push up promotional activities and showcase special local tourist destinations and products to the flow of Filipino visitors in particular and to the market of ASEAN tourists in general.

 The Filipino Famtrip delegation visiting Hue Imperial Citadel

On December 18, the Department of Tourism informed that the unit has just welcomed a Famtrip delegation from Philippines coming to carry out a survey of the tourist attractions in the provincial area.

In Thua Thien Hue, the Filipino Famtrip delegation with 20 members visited and surveyed some well-known attractions such as the Imperial Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh.

The famtrip was held by the Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Da Nang City Department of Tourism, and the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Quang Nam province, together with other businesses. The purpose of this activity was to implement the cooperation project to develop tourism among the localities in 2023. Furthermore, it was held on the occasion that Cebu Pacific Airlines officially opened the straight flight from Manila (Philippines) to Danang.

According to the leaders of the Department of Tourism, this was a favorable occasion for Thua Thien Hue tourism sector to coordinate with other units to enhance promotional activities of local special tourist attractions and products to the market of Filipino visitors in particular and that of ASEAN tourists in general.

In Danang and Quang Nam, the famtrip delegation also visited Ba Na Hills, Son Tra peninsular, My Khe beach, Ngu Hanh Son, Han market, Hoi An old town, and Bay Mau coconut forest.
