Arts exchange between Hue and Ho Chi Minh city

Currently, the training of heritage music at Hue Academy of Music (HAM) encounters many difficulties, especially in enrollment. This reality worries the experts that there will be a lack of the successors to conserve heritage music in the long run

As one of the three Academies of Music training musician professionals for the country, Hue Academy of Music is on its way to establishing its prestige by boosting the strengths in training musical talents, according to Dr. Ha Mai Huong, Director of Hue Academy of Music in her talk with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.

On the morning of November 21, the first Piano - Guitar Festival 2020, organized by the Hue Academy of Music, opened at Song Huong Theater.

An art exchange program took place on the afternoon of April 15th at Hue Music Academy between the students of the Academy and those of the Madrigals Choir of the Mountain View High School - the United States; this proves that music could erase any geographical and states’ boundaries.

On the evening of November 8, an arts exchange program will be organized at Hue Academy of Music to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the traditional day and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Hue Academy of Music with the participation of music lecturers from Vietnam National Academy of Music, Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, Military University of Culture and Arts; music lecturers, former students and students of Hue Academy of Music. Many of the former students have become famous singers and musicians.
