Cycling activity is part of the event to raise funds for the “Seeing is Believing” project
On the morning of May 16, nearly 30 staff members of Standard Chartered Bank from Vietnam, ASEAN and South Asia launched the event “Cycle for Sight” to raise funds for the project “Seeing is Believing” at the Nghinh Luong Dinh relic site (Hue city).
The members will cycle together down to Lang Co – Hai Van Pass – Hoi An and finish the journey in Da Nang on May 18. This activity is expected to raise at least USD 60.000
All of the money will be used for the prevention of blindness and visual impairment by improving the accessibility of high quality eye care services at affordable prices.

“Seeing is Believing” is a cooperation project between Standard Chartered Bank, the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness and the world’s leading eye care organizations.
In Vietnam, the project has actively coordinated with partners to support and develop eyesight restoration and eye care programs. Until now, the program has conducted screening examinations on over 2.5 billion people, performed over 47 thousand eye operations and presented nearly 35 thousand pairs of glasses.
