"Wetlands: Conservation and Development" photo contest
The management board of Wetlands Project has coordinated with the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment of Thua Thien Hue province and Thai Binh province, and Photo Café Club to organize a photo contest themed "Wetlands: Conservation and Development".
The wetlands of Quang Loi, Quang Dien are home to many bird species
This is an activity within the project on "Conservation of Important Wetlands and Associated Habitats" (Wetlands Project) implemented by the Institute of Strategy, Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) in Thua Thien Hue and Thai Binh provinces. The project is aimed to increase stakeholders’ awareness of the roles and importance of wetland ecosystems.
Contest entries are photos of wetland ecosystems throughout the country, such as the beauty of wetland ecosystems; types of animals/plants living in wetlands; and activities, livelihoods of the communities in this area. The time for contest submission is from July 16 to August 17 (according to the postmark on the envelope).
