The branch of Joint Stock Company 3F VIET in Quang Loi commune, Quang Dien district has quickly caught the potential and market mechanism to build a model of raising chicken with herbs. In 2018, 3F Viet put a line of 12 incubators and 4 hatchers with a monthly capacity of 600,000 chicks into operation, supplying products to more than 10 provinces and cities in the country.

With a cycle of 3 months of raising, 3F Viet underwrite products for farmers to supply to the big market. 3F Viet's closed breeding model in the direction of VietGAP has been initially successful when it is widely-known by customers with a need to use organic food.

Director of 3F Viet Branch in Quang Loi, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc shared, “With the motto of bringing clean products to consumers, all stages from input to output such as seeds, herbal supplements, non-antibiotics... everything has to be clean”.

As there is a source of clean breeders available to ensure traceability, the application of the VietGAP-oriented raising process is not difficult, reducing various risks. The farm area is completely isolated, all people entering and leaving must apply disinfection method, from the disinfecting system in the gate area with the misting system, to wearing protective gear and isolating before entering the farm.

Hoa Nen Essential Oil Production One Member Limited Liability Company (Hoa Nen) has recently renewed its manufacturing chain, which is building and conserving, along with linking development to create an area of materials of tens of hectares in Phong Dien district in the direction of VietGAP to meet production needs.

Along with focusing on the process of controlling input materials, Hoa Nen has diversified products with quality and design certified by the board and functional industry; at the same time, it registered and used barcodes issued by the Vietnam Standards and Quality Institute (GSI Vietnam), with anti-counterfeiting stamps... so the company's products are trusted by customers.

Raising chickens with herbs at 3F Viet Joint Stock Company

At the recent seminar themed "Policy for innovation, improvement, technology transfer and development of intellectual property in Thua Thien Hue", Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Ha, Lecturer at Hanoi Foreign Trade University, said that in the trend of full integration, Vietnamese goods in general and local goods in particular need innovation to compete and also need to apply science and technology to improve product quality, along with building the brand name, supplying chain from production, promoting more goods to big markets.

Currently, local businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, need to focus on building long-term development strategies in business activities, and must soon adapt to the "new normal" environment, including investment plans for branding development.

At the same time, state management agencies should establish more policies to support local businesses, especially small and medium enterprises in developing distribution networks and promoting products so that businesses could have more channels to trade, introduce and distribute products...

Many solutions to support enterprises to improve competitive quality, enterprise strength in general and brand building in particular have been step by step provided. Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a program to support technology innovation, technology transfer and intellectual property development in Thua Thien Hue in the period of 2020-2030 to encourage competition and stable development of enterprises in this period of time.
