Tourists visit Hue heritage - the ASEAN sustainable urban tourism product in 2021
Specifically, prizes went to the Silk Path Grand Hue Hotel in the ASEAN MICE Venue Award category, while the ASEAN Green Hotel Award went to Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa. In addition, the tour “Hue-One destination-Five heritages” of Hue Monuments Conservation Centre was presented with the award for ASEAN Sustainable Urban Tourism Products.
The ASEAN Tourism Awards is held annually to honor and contribute to the sustainable development of high-quality tourism destinations, tourism products and services in the region. This year's ASEAN Tourism Awards includes 4 categories, Hue tourism won awards in 3 categories (plus additional category of ASEAN Clean Tourism Cities Award)
The Department of Tourism stated that the prizes would be presented within the framework of the ASEAN Tourism Forum - ATF 2022, which is scheduled to take place in Cambodia in January 2022. This is the joy at the end of the year when tourism in Hue in particular and in the whole country in general has passed a year that has been considered the most difficult so far.
