Published by Thuan Hoa Publishing House, the book is a collection of 60 entries in the 2021 contest of composing new lyrics for Ca Hue songs, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports. Based on ancient Ca Hue songs, the new lyrics praise the beauty of the homeland and the country, such as the songs of Timeless beauty of Hue, The revival of the country, or The color shades of the Ancient Capital.
The new-lyrics composing contest based on Hue songs in 2021 called for the participation of organizations and individuals nationwide, to create a breath of fresh air to Ca Hue songs to suit modern life and the way the public enjoy them today, not to mention the program to bring Hue singing into schools.
