“Khúc Hương Bình” - a compilation of ca Hue songs

Ca Hue Performance by Ca Hue Club is a special show among activities of Citadel Night which attracts a great number of those who love this traditional art.

Born and raised in a poor working family, Le Minh Vu, a young man born in 2000, fell in love with Hue Singing (Ca Hue) from a very early age. That love was ingrained in his subconscious from his childhood days, when he heard the songs and lullabies of the grandmothers and mothers in the neighborhood.

The preservation and promotion of the values of the artistic heritage of Hue Singing (Ca Hue) have captured much attention recently. A dossier “The Art of Hue Singing” has been assembled to submit to the UNESCO to be considered for inclusion in the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

On the morning of June 18, the Department of Tourism coordinated with relevant units to welcome the Malaysian famtrip delegation to survey tourist attractions in Hue.

According to the project “Promoting the values of Hue Singing and building it into a special cultural tourism product in the period 2021 - 2025”, which has just been approved by the Provincial People’s Committee, many concrete goals and solutions are set out to enhance the quality, heading to the establishment of Hue Singing’s brand name, preserving and promoting the artistic heritage value of Hue Singing in association with sustainable tourism development.
