Selling local products

This is a market held after more than two years of cessation due to the pandemic, in order to stimulate tourism demand of the Phong Dien district, towards the celebration of Hue Festival 2022.

From early morning, a large number of locals and tourists near and far come to visit and experience the market's activities such as enjoying the rustic and idyllic dishes made by the villagers: noodles, Banh Cuon, Banh Duc, Banh Canh, Banh Quai Vac, Banh Phu The, Banh Gao, etc.

Visitors can also buy products produced and grown by the people of Phuoc Tich such as jackfruit, figs, vegetables and fruits; shop products of Pho Trach craft village, and enjoy the taste of lotus-marinated tea.

Coming to the market, visitors, especially children, can immerse themselves in the space of the countryside market, participate in folk games, experience pottery making, knitting bang (Lepironia articulata) mats, making cakes, and discover historical and cultural relics, visit the ruong house, take a boat trip on the O Lau river, etc., thereby, nurturing and raising the sense of patriotism and traditional values.

The market "The Old Scent of the Ancient Village" 2022 re-creates a typical rural market space of a village in the Central region; promoting production development associated with community tourism development in Phuoc Tich Ancient Village; contributing to promoting the image, people and cultural values of the countryside here to people and tourists near and far.
