The 4 first prizes being awarded to groups of authors participating in the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2022

In the 12th contest taking place in 2022, 85 topics relating to 6 contest areas have been registered, including Information technology, electronics and telecommunications; mechanics and automation, construction, transportation; materials, chemicals, energy; agriculture - forestry - fishery, natural resources and environment; pharmacy; education and training. Many projects have been invested with meticulous attention to quality and highly appreciated in practice. Among which, there are topics of national and international level and have been applied to reality.

Participants of the contest are diverse, ranging from ordinary workers such as mechanics, civil servants, businesses, to leading professors. The contest also attracts many agencies and units in the province to participate, in which those contributing many topics include University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University (19 topics), Hue Central Hospital (14 topics), University of Education, Hue University (14 topics), and schools under the provincial Department of Education and Training (10 topics), etc.

At the Closing Remarks and Award Ceremony of the 12th Technical Innovation Contest 2022, the Organizing Committee decided to award 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 15 third prizes and 33 consolation prizes to authors and groups of authors of 60 winning topics.

Specifically, the first prizes were awarded to four typical topics, including “Research and application of cryopreservation techniques of human sperm in the treatment of infertility” by the group of authors from University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University; “Study on genetic changes in the prognosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the Pediatric Center, Hue Central Hospital” by the group of authors from Hue Central Hospital; “Educating local culture for preschool children in Thua Thien Hue province” and “Depressive disorder in adolescents in Hue City” by the groups of authors from the University of Education, Hue University.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 5 individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the propaganda, dissemination and organization of the 12th contest occurring in 2022. 

According to the evaluation of the Organizing Committee of the contest, the topics in this year's contest are highly creative, socio-economic efficient and feasible to be applied in practice at agencies and units, which contributes to improving labor productivity, work efficiency and quality of life. The contest is also a playground to affirm the great talent and creativity of the team of scientists living and working in Thua Thien Hue. 

Immediately after the Closing Remarks and Award Ceremony, the Organizing Committee officially launched the 13th Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2023 and called for the participation and active response from units, organizations and individuals inside and outside the province so that the contest can become a meaningful and valuable activity in the creation and application of science and technology, and at the same time actively contribute to turning Thua Thien Hue into one of the science and technology centers of the country. Based on the results of this contest, typical solutions will be selected to be registered for the National Technical Innovation Contest.
