At the signing ceremony, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho introduced briefly the provincial socio-economic situation, key sectors for investment, confirmed the province’s potentialities and advantages, investment environment and policy, as well as the government's commitment in providing favorable conditions of administrative procedures, infrastructure, human resources, etc., in order to create equal, stable, transparent and open business environment for South Korean enterprises. Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho wished to promote cooperation with South Korean partners on the field of smart urban construction, supporting industries, IT, tourism, education, health... and highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between South Korea and the province on many areas, that contributed to the socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue province in the past few years.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Korea in Viet Nam Mr. Kim Do-Hyun was very impressed with the beautiful scenery and people of Hue city. Despite coming Hue for the first time, he seemed to “love Hue already”. Mr. Kim Do-Hyun wished that provincial leaders would create favorable conditions for investors, enterprises, social organizations to work and look for cooperation opportunities in Hue city. He himself will act as a positive factor to introduce and promote the image of Hue city to South Korean and tighten the relationship between the two countries and their people.
