With the goal of building environmentally friendly Green Transport infrastructure, in line with the overall economic development orientation of the province in the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, on June 14, Hue Monuments Conservation Center and Gbike Co., Ltd. (South Korea) signed a cooperation agreement to implement a green transport project in the relic area to exploit and promote the values of Hue relics.

On the afternoon of March 25, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a courtesy meeting with a delegation of the South Korean Consulate General in Da Nang, led by Mr. Kang Boo Sung.

On January 28, the Provincial Youth Activity Center organized a program to experience the traditional Lunar New Year of Vietnam and South Korea, with the theme "Connecting Spring - Peaceful Tet (Lunar New Year)". The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization.

On the afternoon of January 15th, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a courtesy meeting with the Chairman of Deawon Group (South Korea).

On the morning of January 11, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting and discussion with Mr. Choi Sang Joo, Chairman of the KX Group (South Korea) on a visit and working trip to Hue City.

On January 10, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with Vietjet Air, KX Group (South Korea), SMC Hue Co., Ltd. (South Korea), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietravel Hue One Member Limited Company and related units to organize direct flights connecting Thua Thien Hue and Incheon (South Korea).

On December 1, the Provincial Center of Information Technology (HueCIT) coordinated with the SMC Hue Co., Ltd. and the Architecture and Urban Research Institute (AURI) (South Korea) to organize the 2nd International Forum themed "Hue - Information Technology - Promoting sustainable development".

On the afternoon of November 22, at Duyet Thi Duong Theater, Imperial City of Hue, Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) and National Gugak Center of South Korea signed a memorandum of cooperation and conducted a cultural exchange performance of court music between Vietnam and South Korea.

On the evening of November 22, the opening ceremony of an art exhibition on exchanging paintings by artists from Vietnam and South Korea, with the theme "Accompany", took place at Thieu Phuong Garden, Hue Imperial Citadel.

Along with the departure of a direct flight from Hue to South Korea, on August 1, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company, SMC Hue Co., Ltd (South Korea), Phu Bai International Airport; the Provincial Tourism Association, and related units to welcome the first direct flight, connecting Thua Thien Hue with Seoul City (South Korea). This is also the first flight from Incheon International Airport (South Korea) to the new terminal of Phu Bai International Airport.
