Actree waste incineration technology put into operation in Thuy Phuong
TTH.VN - A seminar to introduce advanced waste incineration technology and the inauguration of an Actree waste incinerator at Thuy Phuong waste treatment plant (Huong Thuy Township) was jointly organized by Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEPCO), Actree Co. Ltd., and JICA on May 9.
The advanced waste incineration technology of Actree is instroduced at the workshop.
This is the result of the project "Research on the role of the private sector in the introduction of Japanese incineration technologies for urban solid waste disposal and landfill rehabilitation" sponsored by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The project aims to support Vietnam with a view to applying advanced incineration technologies to promote industrial waste management.
The Actree incinerator for industrial waste treatment by Japanese technology has been installed and piloted at the Thuy Phuong waste treatment plant. This incinerator has a suitable technology, helping to protect the surrounding environment, prolonging the life of the landfill, preventing pollution of water sources and epidemics. HEPCO is committed to operating the incinerator economically, combining high-calorific and low-calorific value burning, combining hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste, long-term burial waste, and continuously operating the incinerator.
