Approval for AEON Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd to implement the 170 million USD worth project

Accordingly, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Quy Phuong and General Director of AEON Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd Nakagawa Tetsuyuki handed over the document on unifying policies to approve Aeon Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd to carry out the project of AEON Mall Hue.

The total area of the project is about 86,216m2, with a total expected investment capital of around 170 million USD. The project aims to invest, make construction and run a general trade and service shopping center including the services of food and beverage, children’s playground and having stalls fully invested in construction, facilities, installation and decoration, etc., for hire; and, renting and subleasing premises, warehouses, halls and other items in the shopping center.

The Provincial People’s Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to chair and collaborate with the Department of Construction, The Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and consulting units to carry out the related procedures in accordance with current laws so that AEON Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd could implement the construction for the project of the Trade and Service Shopping Center at Zone A – An Van Duong new urban.

The investment to build up a new shopping center will contribute to upgrading the efficiency in goods and service supply for Thua Thien Hue local people as well as tourists. The AEON Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd will make investment to large-scale projects and try their best to pushing up the investment in the shopping center in the period of 2021 - 2023.
