Hue City presents the investment certificate to the project on automobile manufacturing and assembling complex
TTH.VN - On January 30, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Le Truong Luu, and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho handed over the decision on investment policy for the project on automobile manufacturing and assembling complex to Bach Viet Automobile Manufacturing Industry Joint Stock Company (Gami Group).

The project is invested and built in Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone on an area of 50 hectares, with a total investment capital of VND 2,655 billion.
The objectives of the project are to produce and assemble cars of up to nine seats, meeting Euro 5 emission standards or higher, with a capacity of 100,000 vehicles per year, and proceed to research and produce electric cars.
The project will start the construction in the third quarter of 2020. It is expected to complete and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated the investor as the unit kicking off the construction of projects in the province in 2020. The Chairman also said that he was focusing on directing, solving difficulties and problems, as well as creating the most favorable conditions for investors to implement projects in the province, and speeding up the procedures to commence at least 15 projects in 2020, creating sustainable and long-term revenue sources.
The project on automobile manufacturing and assembling complex is implemented in combination with the project of Kim Long Motors Hue manufacturing and assembling complex, which will form an automobile manufacturing and assembling complex in Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone, creating premise and motivation to the industrial development in Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone in particular, and the province in general.
