The Vietnam Digital 4.0 Program is Google's initiative that has been implemented in many countries around the world. In Vietnam, Google has teamed up with Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA), Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Women's Initiative for Startups and Entrepreneurship (WISE), and many other partners to organize the program around the country.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Ms. Dang Thi Thuy Duong - Vice Chairman of the Business Association, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Businesswoman Association - shared that over 90% of Vietnamese enterprises are small and medium businesses (SMBs), accounting for nearly half of the economic output and are the backbone of the Vietnamese economy. However, only one in five small and medium businesses has an online presence. Therefore, the Vietnam Digital 4.0 program is organized to help enterprises enhance their ability to manage and develop businesses and enhance digital applications during the Technological Revolution 4.0.
