Vietnam Airlines to promote images, tourism destinations of Hue
TTH.VN - On August 11, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province and the Vietnam Airlines Corporation (Vietnam Airlines) signed an agreement on the cooperation program to promote the images of tourism destinations, improve the efficiency of investmentand tourism promotion activities, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the province; as well as promoting the images and tourism products of Vietnam Airlines.

According to the agreement, the Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Airlines would jointly implement the plan to support development, promotion of investment and tourism, as well as brand promotion in the period of 2017-2021 via activities such as enhancing media by means of the two sides; organizing national and international events in tourism, culture, arts, sports in the province; coordinating to support the activities of investment and tourism promotion activities in Hue in the domestic and overseas tourism fairs; researching on increasing frequency of flights, opening new routes to Hue and building the mechanism to support new routes in the first phase in order to stimulate the demand. At the same time, the two sides would also cooperate to organize press and travel delegations from Europe, Northeast Asia and Australia to visit and explore the potential of tourism in the province, as well as to introduce destinations, investment environment, tourism products of the province to these markets.

Mr. Nguyen Van Cao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee evaluated that with this agreement, the cooperation relationship between the two sides was enhanced, marking the comprehensive, long-termdevelopment. "This cooperation program will be an opportunity to significantly promote tourism activities and call for investment, as well as the cultural exchange between regions and countries to the province in the next five years," Mr. Nguyen Van Cao emphasized.
