TTH.VN - In addition to the Hue heritage system, a large number of domestic and international tourists came to visit and offer incense of paying tribute at other historical sites in the province, with the largest number of tourists were at the Chin Ham historical relic site (An Tay Ward) and the Phan Boi Chau memorial site (Truong An Ward, Hue City).

On April 29, a representative of the Thua Thien Hue History Museum said that during the holiday of April 30 and May 1, a large number of domestic and international tourists contacted, visited, and offered incense of commemoration at the two relics of Chin Ham historical relic site and Phan Boi Chau memorial site.

Accordingly, the majority of tourists were the ones in groups, mostly, those of schools and state agencies. It was estimated that each relic site received hundreds of visitors per day.

According to Thua Thien Hue History Museum, from March until now, the number of tourists to the relics has been quite large, especially during the April 30 period, the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the national reunification, the number of tourists was even more crowded. At each relic site, after offering flowers and incense, tourists were also given detailed introduction about the role and the meaning of each relic by tour guides.

The Chin Ham historical relic site bears the imprint of a time of pain and loss, but also full of the heroic and resilient spirit of our nation. Putting an end to what was known as "hell on earth" in the past, the Chin Ham has now become a red address, a place for sightseeing, learning, and educating the patriotic tradition and the revolutionary spirit for generations in the present and future.

Meanwhile, the Phan Boi Chau memorial site, the place where Phan Boi Chau lived under house arrest by the French colonialists, was also the place that the patriot, known affectionately as the “Old Man of Ben Ngu”, lived until his last moments. These two relics are managed by the Thua Thien Hue History Museum.
