In this solo exhibition, artist Tran Vinh Thinh takes viewers on a brief journey through the afterglow of autumn via 25 abstract works, which he has created over the past year. This is the sixth solo exhibition and the second this year of the artist originated from the coastal region of Thuan An.

According to Ly Doi, an art researcher, Tran Vinh Thinh’s abstract “An autumn that is not far away” is a projection, a connection between geometric abstraction and poetic abstraction, and a way to simplify the elements from symbols and concepts that have been shaped since ancient times.

“Tran Vinh Thinh does not shy away from tradition, but rather uses it as a starting point to explore new possibilities, including retelling traditional stories in an unintentional manner. Therefore, autumn does not necessarily have to convey sadness or separation, but can instead evoke a sense of tranquility, and romance of experiencing the changing seasons, and the excitement of experiencing with time,” said art researcher Ly Doi.

The exhibition opens to visitors until November 12.

They are also the sons of Hue, living and working in HCMC. Without fear, worry and just out of love for their compatriots, they made efforts to support at all costs.
