Artist Dang Mau Tuu presents nearly 40 paintings about New Zealand

TTH.VN - The island nation of New Zealand through the perspective of Dang Mau Tuu, the artist, is not only beautiful but also very peaceful. All are conveyed via paintings through a long trip, with a lot of inspiration and energy by the artist.

"Aotearoa - a region of white cloud" is the theme of a solo exhibition, which has just been introduced to the public by Dang Mau Tuu on the afternoon of June 27 at Le Ba Dang Art Center (on Le Loi Street, Hue City).

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho and many art lovers attended the exhibition.

The exhibition displays 39 art works, created by Dang Mau Tuu in New Zealand during his two-month stay there to visit his relatives. Aotearoa means the land of the long white cloud. In the vernacular, New Zealand is called Aotearoa.

There, viewers will see a peaceful scene with mountains, rivers, trees, grasses, which are extremely peaceful, romantic and attractive through materials such as oil paint, Acrylic, and watercolor, etc.

Dang Mau Tuu said that the art works in this exhibition were his personal look and feelings about a poetic land. “I drew what I saw and thought about it with my affection,” confided artist Dang Mau Tuu.

The exhibition is open to the public until July 4.
