The exhibition features the beauty of nature, culture and people of Hue in the Spring

The exhibition introduces to the public a collection of 50 photographic works by 28 photographers, who are members of Thua Thien Hue Association of Photographic Artists. Through the perspective of photographic art, the photographic works vividly represent the nature, culture and people of Hue in the Spring, via the images of plants, animals, cuisine, festivals, and the shimmering beauty of traditional crafts, etc.

In a speech at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Mr. Ho Dang Thanh Ngoc, a writer, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Literature and Art Associations, affirmed that photographic artists of Thua Thien Hue were proud to be the descendants in the homeland of the forefather of Vietnamese photography - celebrity Dang Huy Tru. They have worked side by side to build a strong association compared to other photographic associations in the whole country.

When political, cultural, sports activities, as well as other activities are taken place in the localities within the province; the photographic artists are always present to promptly capture the images of these events under the perspective of photographic art, creating vivid art works. Many photographic works of Thua Thien Hue photographic artists are valuable, and highly evaluated in many contests at regional, national as well as international levels; winning a great deal of high prizes, contributing to introducing and promoting the beauty and the transformation of the homeland.

The exhibition runs until March 20.
