Exhibition of touching photos featuring the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam

TTH.VN - "Vietnam prevents and combats the COVID-19 pandemic" is the topic of the news - art photo exhibition, organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) in association with the Union of Literature and Arts Associations. The exhibition was opened on the morning of July 17 at Phan Boi Chau Statue Park (at 19 Le Loi Street, Hue City). Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh attended the exhibition.

The exhibition introduces to the public photos, capturing the country's activities during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, displayed in five themes including: "The directives against the pandemic", "Vietnam participates in the fight against the pandemic", "Education during the peak of the pandemic", "The health sector – the frontline in the fight against pandemic", and "The people join hands in the pandemic prevention and control".

These are the works containing both documentary value and high artistic value, which are selected among 2,748 works (including 2,491 photos and 257 series of photos) by 406 authors from 52 provinces and cities across the country. In addition, the exhibition also introduces some photos depicting the prevention and control of the pandemic in Thua Thien Hue area.

During the period of active prevention and control against the pandemic, photographers, photojournalists and photography art lovers have captured real and touching moments of “the life amid the COVID-19 pandemic” all over Vietnam.

The photos reflect a proud panoramic view of the extraordinary efforts of all levels, branches, the whole Party and the whole people in the effective prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam; at the same time continuing to propagate and educate to raise the sense of responsibility of the community to push back the pandemic.

The exhibition lasts until July 19.
