Experiencing Tet traditions in Hue

On December 14, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a scientific forum titled “Asia-Pacific Communication Rehabilitation 2024” and a closing ceremony of the KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) Speech Therapy project.

“Aside from the theme of Hue's cultural heritage, what impresses and moves me most while creating artistic photographs in this land is its people. Hue's people are simple, rustic, and have their identity,” shared photographer Hoang Quoc Vinh (born in 1986, Gia Lai), who was recently honored with an award for the outstanding artistic work about Hue for his photo collection “ Complex of Hue Monuments”, in an interview with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.

In a joy of a significant historical moment, as the goal of the entire political system and local people which is making Thua Thien Hue a centrally-governed municipality come true, Thua Thien Hue Newspaper would like to review and highlight through photos some key projects that mark the province’s development with a consistent and unified point of view: Building a centrally-governed municipality based on the preservation and promotion of the values of typical heritage, culture, and history of the Hue land.

On the afternoon of November 27, the Provincial Women's Union, in collaboration with the Blue Dragon International (Blue Dragon Children's Organization), organized a conference to exchange experiences and implement support activities for children, adolescents, and women, as well as the prevention and combat against human trafficking, between Thua Thien Hue and Ha Giang provinces.

Continuing the activities of the Trinh Cong Son Foundation, the family of the late musician Trinh Cong Son will co-organize the “Flowers and Garbage” art and music performance program in Hue.
