Fund allocation for the restoration of Ung Binh relic at Chau Huong Vien

TTH.VN - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mr. Phan Ngọc Thọ has requested relevant agencies and departments to allocate adequate funds to preserve and restore the Ưng Bình relic in Châu Hương Viên.

Accordingly, Thua Thien Hue History Museum has been appointed as the investor to coordinate with relevant units to file a financial-technical dossier of the project which would be submitted for approval following the state regulations.

The Department of Finance shall coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment to review and advise on the allocation of capital sources for the project implementation by June 20th.

Meanwhile, the Department of Culture and Sports shall coordinate with relevant localities to review and file necessary documents to assess the current status of the relic, propose plans for site clearance to prevent encroachment on heritage sites.

The project of preserving and renovating Ưng Bình relic at Châu Hương Viên was earlier approved by the Provincial People's Council for investment policy a year ago, on November 13th, 2020.
