"Hue, Spring 1968 – the Spring of Vietnam, the Spring of Gallantry"
TTH.VN - This is the theme of an exhibition organized by the Museum of History in collaboration with the Museum of Special Operations, which opened on January 30 at the Museum of History.

This is the activity to celebrate the 88th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2018), and the 50th anniversary of the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1968. Mr. Bui Thanh Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the exhibition.
The exhibition showcases more than 70 images, documents and nearly 60 artifacts. Among them, there are authentic images captured by war correspondents, and documents and artifacts with historical values associated with the General Offensive and Uprising of Tri-Thien Hue’s army, people and Special Forces.
The exhibition focuses on three topics, including: The preparation of position and power as a prerequisite for the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1968 in Tri-Thien Hue, the happenings and results of the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1968 in the Tri-Thien Hue battlefield, and Tri - Thien Hue people’s roles in the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1968.
The exhibition introduces to visitors many artifacts associated with Tri-Thien Hue people in the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1968
These images, documents and artifacts introduce to the visitors an important historical period in the resistance war against American aggressors.
The exhibition is open to the public until February 28.
