Introducing new artworks of young artists

TTH.VN - On the afternoon of March 24, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Thua Thien Hue and Thua Thien Hue Fine Arts Association opened the 6th Youth Fine Art Exhibition at the Gallery of the College of Arts – Hue University.

 The exhibition creating a professional environment for young artists to introduce their new works to the public

Being displayed in this exhibition are 46 works of 43 young artists in the ages under 45 such as art lecturers and students and artists in and out of the Fine Arts Association. All of these are the new artworks created from 2022 with various and diverse expression languages.

Most of the works displayed in the gallery are easel paintings, printed graphics. In terms of painting, there are the works with many types of materials such as silk, oil painting, acrylic, lacquer, synthetic; while graphic works have iron pen, wood carving, Trucchigraphy, etc.

According to the organizing committee’s assessment, although the exhibition space has not attracted new art forms yet, the work displayed here have still born the imprint of discoveries of the young artists which were clearly expressed from the diversity of forms, material techniques to the richness of styles and topics.

The viewers’ emotions are also attracted and led from the messages about human life, to current issues in modern life from the view of the youth.

The provincial Fine Arts Association awarded excellent fine arts awards to 3 artworks: “Emotion 2” by Vu Duy Tam, “Blue Moon” by Nguyen Khai Hoan, “The Tree of Life” by Nguyen Thanh An.

The exhibition takes place until March 30.

Born and raised in Hai Duong commune (Hue City), Dao Nguyen Tai (born in 2002), a student of Applied Arts Department at University of Arts, Hue University, has quietly expressed his love for Hue through lines, colors, and images. Tai's passionate and creative paintings have contributed to spreading the beauty of the Ngu Mountain and Perfume River region.
