Accordingly, it is expected that Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2021 will take place from May 29 to June 26 with a great number of activities and events such as Hue Gastronomy Festival, Sculpture Composing Camp, Trumpet Orchestra Festival, Marathon, Trinh Music Show, Book Fair, Festival of Childhood Colors, SUP boat racing on the Huong River, RAP Music Concert, bai choi game, etc.
This is considered to be a festival with many innovative, special, and different changes from the previous sessions. The time organization of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2021 is spread out with key highlights each week to create the attraction with an aim at contributing to tourism stimulation; tourists can come to Hue many times during the festival. According to the representative of the Tourism Department, this is also the way of organization appropriating to the current trend.
Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee Phan Thien Dinh emphasized that Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2021 needs to take a harmonious combination between tradition and modernity to create the spread and attraction of the festival to visitors. In the coming time, the city will open the walking paths on the Northern side of the Huong River and around Hue Imperial Citadel, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to turn this area into one of the novel highlights, responding to the coming Traditional Craft Festival.
Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Le Media Group Le Quoc Vinh said that the group will acquire the comments of city, provincial agencies, and units, and at the same time, will carry out the appropriate adjustments in the plans of organizing programs, promoting media promotion, creating a hit for the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2021.
Concluding the working session, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh informed that the city highly appropriated and received all of the comments. On that basis, the city will make adjustments soon in some programs and activities to set the list of events and programs for this festival. Furthermore, it will integrate more elements of craft villages in the plan of holding the festival, highlighting the tradition associated with integration and development.
