Artistic performance at Huyen Tran Cultural Center on Lunar New Year holiday
Spring flower festival will be held at Ngenh Luong Dinh, An Dinh Palace, Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, etc.
As usual, on December 23th (Lunar Calendar), the exhibition “Spring and Zodiac animals” will open at Song Nhu gallery, as well as the exhibition “Spring art show” will take place at the headquarter of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Art Associations.
On New Year’s Eve, the cultural and artistic activities combined with firework performance will take place to welcome the New Year. On the first and second days of the Lunar New Year, at the lobby of the Provincial Center for Information and Culture, there will be an art performance program to welcome the spring performed by singers and artists from Hue Traditional Art Theater and Hue Opera Theater.
At the stage in the square in front of Quoc Hoc High school, artistic programs and spring activities will be held including the artistic New Year’s Eve party, the program of Hue Singing on the 1st night of the Lunar New Year and the music show on the 2nd night of it.
Thuong Bac Park will be the place of the Hue Tet program, at the same time, this is also the center of various spring activities such as Spring flower Festival, kite-flying performance, as well as the cultural, music and sports activities, etc., before and during Tet holiday. The artistic kite flying program will take place at Phu Van Lau Park on the 2nd and 3rd days of Tet.
In other districts and towns many exciting and fascinating traditional activities will be held to serve local people and tourists such as Quang Ngan kermess and Tet village market at Vinh My during the first three days of Tet; while Phuoc Tien swinging (đu tiên) in Quang Tho, Quang Dien district will be held on the 1st to the 4th days of it; Dien Hoa swinging (Phong Dien district), on the 2nd day; and Gia Vien swinging (Phong Hien, Phong Dien), on the 4th day, etc.
As usual, Thu Le wrestling festival will be held on the 6th day of Tet; Sinh village wresting, on the 10th day; and boat racing on Vuc River (Huong Thuy), on the 9th day.
