The "Vong Co do" program to be held at Hue University

TTH.VN - The program of “Vong Co do" ("Nostalgia for the Ancient Capital") will be organized by the family of musician Trinh Cong Son and poet Nguyen Duy on the evening of September 26 at Hue University.

"Vong Co do" is an art program combining traditional music and contemporary poetry, with the theme of Hue and the purpose of honoring the past and present cultural values of Vietnam.

They are Hue royal court music recognized by UNESCO as the intangible cultural heritage of the mankind, the traditional music holding a long history of the Northern Delta: cheo singing, ca tru singing, chau van singing, xam singing. The memory of musician Trinh Cong Son in the lyrics will be blended into the melody of Hue music.
