On April 1, the Provincial People’s Committee issued a document on the receipt of the Nguyen Dynasty’s antiques from Sunshine Group Joint Stock Company.

Previously, the Provincial People’s Committee received the document about donating the two antiques from Sunshine Group Joint Stock Company. Lately, in October 2021, this group successfully auctioned two Nguyen Dynasty antiques including a mandarin’s hat and Nhat Binh’s embroidered silk Ao dai from the auction house Balclis (Spain).

Depending on appropriate functions, the Provincial People’s Committee also assigned relevant departments to cooperate with Sunshine Group to give the Provincial People’s Committee advice to carry out legal procedures for receiving donated antiques under the current law.

These two antiques made a stir at the auction on October 28, 2021 of Balclis house (Spain) when the Nguyen Dynasty mandarin’s hat was priced at 600.000 Euro – nearly 16 billion VND (1.000 times higher than the starting price of at 600 USD). Also in this auction, the Nguyen Dynasty Nhat Binh Ao dai was bought for more than 35.000 Euro – about 930 million VND.
