Attending the ceremony were Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. In addition, there were also experts, researchers, culinary artisans, businesses ... along with numerous tourists and people.
This activity is a part of the main event series of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019 with the support of Vietravel. This culinary festival has hundreds of typical delicacies from 40 units of 15 provinces and cities across the country.
After 5 days, the festival attracted more than 50,000 national and international visitors to visit and experience. It is estimated that the revenue of each booth is about VND 10 million per day and the total revenue of all booths in the festival is over VND 2.5 billion.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky - Chairman of Vietnam Cuisine Culture Association awarding flowers and certificates to those who have made important contributions to the festival as well as the development of Vietnamese cuisine.
According to Mr. Le Tan, this year's cuisine festival has a different point as it separates the drinking part from the eating one. The artisans’ contribution participates in creating this mark.
“Vietnamese culinary culture has a beginning but never ends. The flow of Vietnamese culinary culture always flows into the blood vessels, creating a mark to bring Vietnamese culinary culture to new heights, reaching out to the world. It is the desire not only of us but also of everyone; this responsibility is of everyone," Mr. Tan said.
On this occasion, the festival Organization Board also granted certificates to the units and sponsors. In addition, the Organization Board pay tribute and give certificates to the participating units as well as the experts in culinary research, the artisans and professional chefs who contribute to the festival in particular and Vietnamese cuisine in general.
