Art kites fly high

Not only well known in the “kite map” as a kite maker whose giant kites have flown in many parts of the world, Nguyen Dang Hoang is also considered a unique kite flier as he has made countless original kites, creating his own brand name “Hoang’s Kite.” Among them, his dragon kite, a symbol of power,_ made with Hoang’s skillful hands then hovered in the sky at shows and international festivals made many people admire.

On the morning of May 29, Hue Festival Center said that within the framework of the Summer Festival of Hue Festival 2023, the International Kite Festival 2023 would take place from June 3 - 9, with the participation of many Southeast Asian countries.

The community kite flying activity was organized by Hue city Center for Culture, Information and Sports on the afternoon of April 29 at Thuan An beach. This activity is held within the framework of Thuan An Sea Festival 2022, which are taking place from April 28 to May 2.

For the first time after 2 years being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, Hue Kite Festival 2022, which was held from April 16 to 23 at Tu Tuong Park, next to the Huong River’s bank, has attracted a huge number of tourists, especially the participation of the kids from the first days.

By organizing the culinary festival at Hue Festival 2020, the Organizing Committee expects to once again affirm Hue as the capital of Vietnamese cuisine.
