59 topics are awarded in the Provincial Children and Youth’s Creativity Contest 2019

TTH.VN - The closing and awarding ceremony of the 12th Provincial Children and Youth’s Creativity Contest 2019 was held on the morning of May 5 to honor the authors of 59 topics winning prizes in the contest of 2019.

At the closing and awarding ceremony of the contest in 2019, the organizing committee awarded 4 first prizes, 9 second prizes, 12 third prizes, and 34 consolation prizes to the authors and groups of authors of 59 topics winning prizes. Furthermore, the organizing committee also awarded 1 prize to the best model, 1 other prize to the youngest author, and 1 prize to the author with the most difficult circumstance. At the same time, they also awarded 6 teams and 4 individuals with excellent achievements in the work of propagandizing, popularizing, and holding the contest.

According to the organizing committee, the contest in 2019 was popularized widely in the whole province. All of the districts, towns, and city deployed all steps synchronously from forming organizing committee, propagandizing, awarding to selecting topics to join the provincial level contest; notably, many models and products had high applicability in reality.

About the results, the organizing committee received 127 topics chosen from 9 districts, towns and city to join the provincial level contest in 2019 that belong to 5 areas including computer software (13 topics); learning aids (21 topics); environmental friendly products (32 topics); solutions for environment protection, climate change mitigation and economic development (30 topics); home appliances and children's toys (31 topics), etc.

The localities and units with many topics participating in the contest were: Hue city attended with 33 topics; 10 of them winning prizes; Quoc Hoc high school for the gifted participated with 10 topics and achieved 7 prizes, among which were 3 first prizes; Huong Thuy town attended with 11 topics, in which 7 won prizes, and Quang Dien district attended with 12 topics and achieved 7 prizes, etc.

According to the assessment of Mr. Tran Huu Dang, Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations, Head of the Organizing Committee, the contest of this year covered many highlights such as all districts, towns and city held the contest in earnest in their localities to judge, award and select topics to join the provincial level contest. The heads of the organizing committee of the contest in district, town, and city levels were the Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of that districts, towns and city.

This was one of the factors contributed to the strong development of the contest. All of the topics participating in the contest were inspired from reality and connected closely with children and Youth’s life, work, study, and entertainment.
