961 athletes compete at the 7th “Strong for National Security” sports festival

Mr. Le Truong Luu, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Bui Thanh Ha, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Cao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Colonel Nguyen Van Toan, Deputy Director of Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security attended the opening ceremony.

The sports festival takes place for five days (from March 26 to March 30), with 961 athletes who are officers and soldiers of 40 local units of the Provincial Public Security competing in ten sports, including swimming, shooting, chess, tug of war, badminton, table tennis, cross-country running, etc. In addition, the professional units of the Provincial Public Security also organize marches to praise the forces, and perform martial arts and combat plans to ensure security and order.

This is the Provincial Public Security’s celebration of the 70th anniversary of the movement “Public Security Forces following six teachings of Uncle Ho” and the 43th anniversary of Thua Thien Hue province's liberation day.
