Harvesting sea products before rainy season

TTH.VN - Every year, before the rainy season, people in “aquaculture barns” such as Chuon lagoon, coastal communes of Phu Vang, Phu Loc, Phong Dien, Huong Tra, Hue city regularly inspects their ponds and cages to harvest fish and shrimp to avoid damage caused by storms and floods.

This year, though storms and floods have come later, people are still not subjective in protecting aquatic resources and sea products. In these days, they have been harvesting fish and shrimp, especially the high-value specialty species such as Spotted butterfish, Rabbitfish, “ong bầu” fish (Rhynchopelates oxyrhynchus), prawn, crab, etc... in order to supply to the market, as well as to have good income.
