Hue University wins the champion at Star Awards 2023

TTH.VN - As the announcement provided by Hue University on December 3, at the national final round of English competition for students - Star Awards 2023, the team representing the Hue University excellently won the first prize.

The competition took place at the National University of Hanoi on December 2. At the final round, the 6 best teams all over the country would compete in 3 parts, including Greetings, Conquering, and Bravery. The teams drew lots for choosing competitors and they would debate on a topic given by the Organizing Committee related to the theme “Vietnamese youth with cyberspace”.

After three exciting and thorny rounds, the final first prize went to the team from Hue University; the second prize belonged to Hanoi team; and the third prize was to the team from Can Tho.

Star Awards 2023 is a playground for the exchange of English learning among members and students from colleges and universities all over the country. It aims to strengthen social knowledge system and raise students’ understanding of the online space; hence, contributing to raising students’ awareness about the importance of foreign language in education and future employment opportunities. 

The competition also tightens the friendship and cooperation among National Universities, Regional Universities, and key universities nationwide. At the same time, it enhances the opportunities for cooperation and connectivity between businesses and universities, raising the quality of training students - the future workforce.
