In a small hamlet in Cu Lai Trung village, Phu Hai commune, Phu Vang district, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung (56 years old) is still making bait for fishermen in the area everyday as well as serving the stalls selling marine materials.

12 years ago, unfortunately, he got sick and he could not go out to sea. Missing the sea as well as the career, he began to focus on making squid bait, which is made of wood and lead with shrimp-shape.

The main material to shape the basic shrimp form is wood, with a groove on its body to pour lead into, creating a certain weight.
