The launch of Got Hong Club in Thua Thien Hue

In the middle of the program themed "Awareness and development", a talk was held for participants to get connected and share experiences in life. This is the opening activity and marks the launch of Got Hong Club in Thua Thien Hue.

The Chairman of Got Hong Club in Thua Thien Hue – Mr. N.V.V. said: “Today's offline meeting aims to create a flexible open space for the LGBT community to meet, get acquainted, and grasp knowledge about healthcare. The club will also support communication, share love, as well as facilitate LGBT people in understanding their rights and raising their voice."

On this occasion, the representative of Hue Center for Disease Control (CDC) had a talk to introduce Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), which included communication about HIV/AIDS infection in Vietnam/Hue City; the effects, benefits, and current situations of PrEP practices; Q&A session related to HIV/AIDS prevention. The CDC's communication officer also introduced the institutions for HIV screening and confirmation testing, the registration form to receive free test samples, and the HIV/AIDS treatment process.
