Thua Thien Hue sent 127 medical staff and doctors to support HCMC and southern provinces
TTH.VN - On the morning of July 14, Thua Thien Hue province held a ceremony to join hands with Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces to prevent and control COVID - 19 pandemic.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu presented flowers to encourage units setting off to prevent and control the pandemic.
Thua Thien Hue province has sent 127 medical staff and doctors of Hue Central Hospital, Department of Health, final year students of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University to Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces to participate in the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking at the dispatch ceremony, Secretary Le Truong Luu acknowledged and praised the efforts of the medical team and doctors in the disease prevention and control over the past time; and at the same time, he affirmed that 127 medical staff and doctors need to promote their sense of responsibility and join hands with Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic most effectively.
Secretary Le Truong Luu also thanked the sponsor units that have accompanied the province in disease prevention and control over the past time. Hopefully, in the coming time, units and businesses will continue to pay attention to and share difficulties with the province in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
