2018 budget revenue: Targeting from VND 7,200 to 7,300 billion

TTH.VN - The Provincial Department of Finance held the meeting of concluding 2017 and deploying 2018’s tasks on January 26. Distinguished guests attending this important meeting included Mr. Le Truong Luu, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Cao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

By the end of 2017, the total state budget revenue of the province exceeded VND 6,928 billion, accounting for 101% of the planned target; and the total expenditure was more than VND 8,984 billion, equivalent to 98.4% of the estimate due to the deficit of budget balance.

In 2018, the Department of Finance projects to focus on effective budget collecting and spending tasks. Accordingly, it would regularly supervise the situation of budget revenue in each sector, locality and enterprise so as to promptly provide consultation in order to assist enterprises to achieve effective production and business; foster the budget sources, and provide consultation to the Provincial People’s Committee to supplement state budget and advance funding to complete investments of infrastructure of the planning areas; and review and rearrange state-owned land and housing properties for public auction.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao said that although there had been certain difficulties, the financial sector had accomplished the budget revenue task of 2017. Mr. Nguyen Van Cao urged the financial sector to boost its solutions in order to make budget revenue of 2018 even exceed the set goal, reaching between VND 7,200 and 7,300 billion, with an increase from VND 300 to 400 billion compared to the assigned mission of VND 6,830 billion.
