40th anniversary of School of Culture and Arts

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha gave the school the laudatory writing

Established in July 1977, Binh Tri Thien Culture and Information Professional Training School, now the School of Culture and Arts, has come to affirm the position of a qualified culture and art training institution in the country. At this school, hundreds of actors and actresses, instrumentalists of the Ca Hue and Hue folk songs, imperial classical drama and opera singers, royal court dancers, and instrumentalists of Hue court music were trained.

Following the last 40 year tradition, in the academic year 2017-2018, the school will expand the scale and improve the quality of training, with many changes in the management mechanism. Besides promoting the strengths of traditional art specialities, the school also diversifies its training to meet the need of society, orienting to a standard training model which combines theory with practical skills, and teaching with scientific research.

At the ceremony, under the mandate of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Dung awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the school. On this occasion, on behalf of provincial leaders, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha gave the school the "Unity - Creativity- Conservation and Development" laudatory writing.
