Art exhibition entitled "Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh"

TTH.VN - On the afternoon of May 17, the University of Arts - Hue University inaugurated an art exhibition of students with the theme "Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh."

The exhibition includes 28 works which are represented with various materials, such as oil paint, acrylic, wood engraving, synthetic materials, etc. of 23 students from the University of Arts.

This is the first time for students to have an intensive exhibition about President Ho Chi Minh on display at the university. Thanks to their deep professional training, the authors attach great importance to professionalism and artistry, and try to explore different materials, techniques and artistic expressions.

First prize is awarded to Nguyen Thanh Loc

At the opening of the exhibition, the organizers awarded first prize to "Pac Bo (1961)" by Nguyen Thanh Loc. Second prize was awarded to "Portrait of Uncle Ho" by Le Thi Duyen. Third prize was presented to two works "Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh" by Thai Van Nguyen and "Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh" by Hoang Minh Duong.

The exhibition will finish on May 31.
