Department of Industry and Trade announces collection of Hue souvenirs and gifts

TTH.VN - After the announcement, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with relevant departments to build effective support policies to improve the competitiveness of handicraft products, affirm their footholds on market.

This activity was held by the Department of Industry and Trade on the morning of August 3 to introduce to local people and tourists a collection of (LNQT) Hue 2018 souvenirs and gifts and deploy the 2018 LNQT product development plan.

After many years of supporting product designs, machinery investment and putting them to the vote, there are 54 products of 43 businesses, establishments dealing with specialities and handicraft products being selected to put into the collection to serve tourists such as: Doan Trang ao dai and embroideries, Thien Huong sesames candies, Loc Mai fig tea, Hue grapefruits, Kim Vui Cajeput oil, Hue Royal tea, gilded paintings (Thuan Thanh Duy Mong), Phap Lam Enameling Jewelries, Truc chi paper fans (handmade bamboo fans), ao dai Hue, Lang Sinh paintings, Hue lotuses, Bao la weaving, etc.

After the announcement, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with relevant departments to build effective support policies to improve the competitiveness of handicraft products, affirm their footholds on market. At the same time, the department also held three points of product introduction at the areas having a lot of passers-by such as Phu Bai International Airport, Big C and Hue Co.op Mart supermarkets.
