Departments, branches, localities: Competitiveness index to be evaluated

TTH.VN - The promulgation of the set of Department and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI) in the province demonstrates the determination of the Provincial People's Committee in improving the efficiency of administration at all levels of authorities, creating incentives to reform drastically and synchronously, contributing to the improvement of the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) in the coming time.

That was the opinion of Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of National Assembly Delegation of Thua Thien Hue province, Vice Permanent Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho at the consultation workshop on the set of index and how to implement the Department and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI) in the province, which took place on April 6.

At the consultation workshop, experts and leaders of departments, branches, localities and enterprises gave their opinions on the DDCI set including: transparency and accessibility of information; the dynamics of the leadership; time costs, unofficial costs; equal competition, business supports, legal institutions; accessibility to land, information technology application and labor training.
