Hue University of Science prepares diseases resistance nanoparticles for rice

TTH.VN - The topic "Research on preparation of multi-functional nanoparticles based on chitosan oligosaccharide (COS) and testing their disease resistance ability on rice in Thua Thien Hue province", which is conducted by the University of Science, Hue University, has just been accepted on the afternoon of July 30.

Types of nano preparations are prepared by the research team

To prevent rice diseases, the current main measure is still the use of chemicals. Therefore, environmentally friendly disease control measures are interested in research and application. With this topic, the authors studied 8 contents to prepare materials, including COS, silica nano, silver nano, copper nano, multi-functional nano ...

As a result, the team assessed the ability of each type of nanoparticle affects the growth and development of rice in net-house conditions. At the same time, the team also identified the types of nanoparticles that are not toxic to humans, in the field, on the rice stalks and to the environment.
