The announcement states that in order to ensure the prevention and control of COVID-19 disease in the province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, Hue Monuments Conservation Center, and the People's Committee of districts, towns, and Hue city temporarily not to open the monuments, museums, and landscapes in the area to the public from 5 p.m. on March 14 until further notice.

Management units of the monuments, museums, and landscapes carry out environmental treatment, spray disinfectant, prevent the COVID-19 disease, and ensure conditions to open them to the public again.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the number of visitors to the monuments of Hue Monuments Conservation Center has decreased by 70 to 80 percent over the same period last year.
