Student of Quoc Hoc Hue high school wins bronze medal of International Olympiad in Informatics
TTH.VN - Nguyen Hy Hoai Lam (grade 12, Quoc Hoc gifted high school, Thua Thien Hue province) won the bronze medal at the 2017 International Olympiad in Informatics recently held in Iran. This is one of the three medals that the Vietnamese team won.

This year's International Olympiad in Informatics featured 308 contestants from 84 countries and territories. Vietnam was among 19 countries and territories to win gold medals, ranked 17/84 in the medal table.
The gold medal of the Vietnamese students team belongs to Le Quang Tuan - the 12th grade student, High School for Gifted Students, Hanoi National University of Education. Another bronze medal is owned by Pham Cao Nguyen - the 12th grade student, High School for Gifted Students, Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam National University.
Previously, among the contestants of Vietnam who participated in the 2017 Asian Olympiad in Informatics, Nguyen Hy Hoai Lam was also one of the five Vietnamese winners of the silver medal.
In addition, Nguyen Hy Hoai Lam won the bronze medal at the Asia Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2016. At the same time, he was the first student of the Quoc Hoc Hue gifted high school to win the 1st prize at the National Excellent Student Competition (school year 2015-2016).
