The Ky Hoi 2019 Spring Press Fair kicks off

The Ky Hoi 2019 Spring Press Fair officially opens on the afternoon of January 28.

The Spring Press Fair of this year has a direct participation of 22 provincial agencies and department, and the collaboration of 17 units which have publications, including 2 units participating for the first time which are the Provincial Propaganda and Training Commission and the Portal of the Provincial People’s Committee’s office. This Spring Press Fair has the attendance of nearly 400 spring magazines, Tet magazines, broadcast and TV programs celebrating the New Year and many information publications of the departments in the province.

According to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, Editor-in-Chief of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper, Head of the organization board of Ky Hoi 2019 Spring Press Fair, this year, the publications attach special importance to the content, form, beautiful presentation, quality content which copiously adhering to the changes of life, clearly expressing the cultural nuances of the career, which are rich in humanity of the country’s regions.

The organization board of the Ky Hoi 2019 Spring Press Fair also awards certificate of merits for 13 units with excellent achievement in taking part in holding the spring press fair of this year.

The Ky Hoi 2019 Spring Press Fair will take place in 15 days, from January 28 to February 10, 2019 at No. 22B Le Loi Street, Hue city. During the displaying time, there will be many supplemental programs such as press club activities and reading spring poets on spring magazines. On date 6th of the Lunar New Year, the organization board will hand over all of these magazines to Phu Loc district for a showcase before moving to remote communes and coastal border posts.

On this occasion, the organization of the Ky Hoi 2019 Spring Press Fair also awards certificate of merits for 13 units with excellent achievement in taking part in holding the spring press fair of this year.
